Kings School – Macclesfield

This project involved the design and construction of a new school campus. The new school, which has 1,200 pupils and 300 staff, will have 350 rooms in a 16,000m² building as well as a new sports centre.

At the time of construction, it was the largest secondary school in the UK.

Full subfloor preparation was also completed throughout this job, including; mechanical prep, DPM and latex.

18,000m² of soft flooring was installed over the course of 10 months.

We continued to push on through the pandemic and managed to deliver the project ahead of the programme schedule.
